ABOUT CAREY

Carey has a lifelong love of fitness. And food. And dancing. Growing up in Omaha, she frequently found ways to gather the kids in her neighborhood together for some form of class or lesson. She’s always loved to teach. To share knowledge and take care of others. To perform a bit. To help a lot.    

Her passion for dance and physical fitness followed her to Oklahoma, where she earned a BA in Performing Arts from Oklahoma City University, minoring in anatomy and kinesiology.  Starting her professional foray into fitness training in 2003, in an Oklahoma City athletic club, Carey quickly grew into own her own facility—Carey Lea Fitness—for seven years. Certified in health and wellness, she provided exclusive, personalized wholistic training services that fused fitness, food preparation, and healthy living techniques that consistently worked.   Realizing that self-actualization is the result of both a ton of self-love and a ton of (sometimes uncomfortable) hard work, she began to set the tone for her personal and professional life going forward.  She’s brought that insight into her client relationships. Truly seeing the beauty in every soul, she helps clients realize their dreams and potential through commitment, willingness to work hard, and the superpower that makes it all possible. 

Carey’s journey took her from Omaha to Oklahoma, to New York and California, and back again to Omaha. She learned a lot of hard-won lessons along the way.    Today, she is wife to David, mom to four beautiful children, and bonus mom to an incredible stepdaughter. She takes enormous pride in creating a love-filled, healthy home for her family, helping hundreds of people achieve total health and get in the best shape of their lives, and in having learned to love, respect, and take care of herself.
